Steps for adding Google Analytics:
Simply following these steps in order to get your analytics code pasted in your website:
- Go to www.Google.com/analytics and create a gmail account if you don't already have.
- But if you have a gmail account then click on sign in and then click on Access Analytics.
- Now Click On Access Analytics.
- Now click on Sign up button again.
- Now Give your Account name , Website address and your time zone ( your country )
- Now click on "Get Tracking Code" and then Click On "I Accept".
- Now you will see a new window loaded in which you will see your Tracking code there and your Analytics ID.
- Now Login to your Blogger account and then go to settings and click on Others Tab in your Dashboard.
- Here you will see a box named "google analytics property" . Now paste your Tracking ID there.
- Now click on save settings on the upper right corner of the page.
- Now come back to your analytics account and copy your Analytics Code from here.
- Then go to Template section in your blogger dashboard and click on Edit HTML.
- Now go to the end of the page and you will see a <body> tag , paste your code above that.
- Then just click on Save Template and you are done for now.
- It will take 24 hours to show your website activity on Google analytics.
