After the block of YouTube in Pakistan , Pakistani users have a lot of problems is downloading the videos from YouTube when they connect using a proxy software like Ultra-surf, Zen-made and Hot-spot shield.Because now a days Internet download manager is unable to grab files when it is connected through a proxy software or any browser proxy.So To resolve this issu Internet download manager team is working but before their announcement some IT experts found a way to do it.As now a days when you are using proxy software Internet download manager extension is automatically removed or disabled.So after the search by the IT experts , it is now possible to download files from YouTube and all other websites which you are surfing by the use of any proxy software.So first of all i would like to thanks to that team which work so hard and provide this trick to us for free of cost and secondly i would like to thanks It Masti's Admin who urged me for writing this article for you.So let's start our procedure and download the videos which we love to watch but we were unable to do so because of the ban on YouTube.Just follow the following steps and you will be able to download all of your YouTube videos in no time:
STEPS:
Following are some simple steps which will open the way to download movies and songs of your choice from YouTube:
The first thing you need is Google Chrome browser.You can download it from here
Install the Google chrome Browser (It can take a few minutes).
Now after the successful installation just open Google chrome and then write the following your address bar "chrome://extensions/".Don't use http:// or www. Just copy and paste it in your address bar.
Now a extension window will appear.If you see an IDM extension there which is disabled then click on enable.
If you don't see any IDM extension there then just go to your internet download manager folder.
It is usually located at "C:\Program Files\Internet Download Manager".Now all you have to do is to search for a file named "IDMGCExt.crx ".
Now you have to add this file to your extensions list so that you can use it.
Just click on this file and drag it to your Google Chrome extension window.
It will start installing it. The installation will take only a few seconds.
if any error appears then please retry a few times and if your are not still able to do it then please contact Google support forum.
After it installs successfully,Restart your browser so that your settings can be configured correctly ( not necessary but recommended by me)
Now open Google Chrome again and Configure your proxy software.
Browse YouTube website and open video of your choice.You will see that a "download this video" box appear.If so then it means that you have successfully installed it.But if it doesn't then try the procedure again.
