GOOGLE WEBMASTER TOOLS :
Google webmaster tools are the best way to judge your audience behaviour as well as to check your website for any error.You can also submit your Sitemap to Google search engine using Google Webmaster tools.
So in this tutorial i will be showing you how to submit your website to google webmaster tools using Domain name provider.
So let's start our today's work.
STEPS:
- Go to Google webmaster tools.And sign in to your Google account or if you don't have any Google Account then create a new account and then sign in to Google Webmasters account.
- Now Add your Website by pasting the website address (URL) in the "Add site" box.
- Now you will be asked to verify your website.You can choose any method but i will use "Using Domain Name Provider" method in this tutorial.Now select your Domain Name provider from the given list.As my Domain Name provider is GoDaddy so i will select them.
- Now you will see that there are complete instructions for verifying your website.Just follow them.Copy the given code and login to your Domain name provider website.Then go to the DNS editor section and add a txt record there.Then paste the code in "Value" field and in "Host" field just type @ sign.Then click on finish button and wait for some time.As it can take up to 1 hour to change settings.
- Now come back to the verification tab and click on verify.You will see that your website will be verified successfully.If you have any problem then you can try CNAME records method or HTML tag method to verify your website with google webmaster tools.That's it you have successfully verified your website.Now just simply upload your sitemap and you can check your website's error or any search engine queries that users will made to reach your website.
